One restaurant still sticks in my head from my last trip to Istanbul a few years back. And plot twist: it's not even Turkish!
If you find yourself wandering the cobblestone streets of the Beyoğlu district, make sure to stop by Galaktion when your stomach starts rumbling.
It's a dimly lit, cosy Georgian joint serving up Khachapuri so outrageously rich and cheesy, it'll make you extreeemely thankful that the nearby Galata Tower has an elevator :-)
