First things first, kick your misconceptions to the curb.
It’s no secret that Bosnia has got baggage. But decades later, it’s back on the map in a big way, and countless of our members are smitten.
Dubbed as the “green paradise of the Balkans,” this entire country packs a punch for nature lovers.
It offers a tranquil atmosphere of emerald waterfalls and old-world Ottoman architecture. Not to mention one of the most scenic rail routes in all of Europe! And with a crime index is lower than the likes of Ireland, Italy, and France.
At some stage, you’re bound to collide with the country’s profoundly heartbreaking past, mainly through walking tours and museums - to truly embrace the indestructible soul of Sarajevo, you shouldn’t look past it.
Recently our members raved about Sarajevo's historic cable car, a full-circle symbol of peace that definitely deserves an afternoon.
But if you've come all this way, save a few days for the open road. It'd be a crying shame to miss the chance to hit Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia too!
P.S. We rarely see spring/summer dates pop up, so if you're keen on visiting, book quick.
