What began as a trip became an adventure with no set end date

Why do we travel?

Perhaps because, at some point, we all try to find the meaning of life. To discover what truly makes us feel alive, what we want to remember, and how we want to spend the time we have.

We are Luci and Javi, a newly married couple who flew to Nusa Penida (Indonesia) just a few months after our wedding. We both worked remotely, so we packed our laptops and camera gear into our suitcases and left with a return date already set.

At the time, we thought it would be just a trip.

A pause before going back to our usual life.

But Indonesia changed us far more deeply than we expected. We rediscovered our passion for travelling, connecting with other cultures, discovering new ways of living, and stepping outside everything we had always considered normal.

And the closer our return date came, the clearer it became that we no longer wanted to go back to the same life.

So we did something that, just a few months earlier, would have seemed unthinkable: we decided to miss that flight.

We left behind our home in Spain, our old jobs, and the life we had built there to dedicate ourselves to what truly makes us happy.

Now we travel with a camera in hand and always have a story to tell. We explore the world to discover everything that is out there: places, people, cultures, ways of living, and small moments worth sharing.

What began as a trip turned us into travel content creators and became an adventure with no set end date and no return ticket.

We may not know exactly what we are looking for yet. But perhaps the meaning of life is not about finding one single answer. Perhaps it is about having the courage to leave the familiar behind and start building the life you truly want to live.
