Stunning views, fresh air and a lot of banter in the Alps

Once a year, every year, the gang of 'old' school mates reunite for a 4 day trek, always in Europe but somewhere new each time.
In August 2025 a dozen of us set off to Italy. The trip now includes some of the fathers with their keen sons. We caught the flight to Turin followed by a quick drive into the hills and an uphill struggle into Italy’s Gran Paradiso National Park. Stunning views, fresh air and a lot of banter. After a few days climbing the peaks we headed back into town for a pizza and a few Peronis.
