A moment in the life of monks

I was exploring Luang Prabang and although I am very conscious of photographing people without getting their permission first I just had to take this photo. The young novice monks were chatting away while heading up the path to receive more instruction. I could picture them becoming the serene and solemn students once they topped the stairs.
