Batik Air Review from DynamicHiker21718

We had arrived in Jakarta at 7am our next flight was scheduled for 0445 the next morning. We went to the airport hotel we had booked to rest prior to the early morning departure. After a shower and nap I awoke to find a message from Batik Air saying that the flight was cancelled. The hotel was great and got us back to the airport and we found the airline query desk. On showing the agent the message and saying where we were trying to get to she said that there was flights that afternoon and she could amended the booking to get us to our destination that day. She gave us a printed out sheet and we went to the check in for the flight. We had 30 minutes wait before boarding and flew to an interim airport where we disembarked walked to the next aircraft which was our next flight. This left 20 minutes after we had landed. I was not expecting to see our luggage arrive at the destination airport. But it did. So thanks to the airline for sorting and handling the luggage even though they had cancelled our planned flight.
