I just wanted to share with you my story and some pictures from my recent trip to Bodø in Norway.I booked this trip during the Black Friday sale on Scandinavian Airlines from Manchester airport, and it has to have been one of the best trips I've been on.Going out I was determined to see the Northern lights, little did I know there would be so much solar activity in the area. I went on a small group tour with Nordland Adventures, and because it was off season, there was only 2 of us. The tour guide goes to different spots depending where the lights are best and can even drive to Sweden if needs be! We ended up going North of Bodø to the Mistfjorden and the Svartvatnet lake.I also got to go hiking, we drove to Saltstraumen and got to look at the maelstroms in the water, before continuing on to the Valfossen mountain. There we hiked up until we reached the frozen waterfall, and had a hot chocolate. Again a truly wonderful experience! When people think of the arctic circle and tourism, they think Tromsø, but I have to say, Bodø is so underrated and well worth a visit.Have a great day, thank you for all the deals, My next trip is to Luxembourg in April <3
