The Faroe Islands in $510s-$530s RT

If you've never heard of the Faroe Islands, or never considered visiting, here's your elevator pitch:

Imagine Iceland, but without all the tourists. Imagine rugged coastlines and sweeping green valleys dotted with curly white sheep. Imagine waterfalls and fishing docks, and sipping local whisky as you stare off into the mist.

Imagine some gosh darn peace and quiet.

Despite their surprisingly good infrastructure, the Faroes are still much more tranquil and isolated than their more famous neighbors, making them an excellent place to just... kinda... disappear for a while. Stroll past the turf-covered cottages of Tórshavn, drive out to the tiny villages along the coast, and climb up the hills of Hvíthamar to stare out into the foggy fjord and pretend you're some kind a tortured poet.

It's almost like the rest of the world just fades away...
