We've spotted EgyptAir popping up with cheap business fares a few times recently, but whenever we go to check the details, we realise they're punting their premium economy-style extra-reclining seats as the real deal.
But not this time!
So if you've been working out the best way to use up that annual leave before the end of the year, here's my recommendation: make the most of the lie-flat comfort on the long stretch between Cairo and Shanghai. Once you land, you'll be refreshed and ready to immerse yourself in the twinkling lights and mouthwatering smells of Yuyuan.
Fill that bulging business class bag allowance with cute souvenirs to take home as Christmas gifts, and suddenly your family will be delighted that you popped away at short notice. Win-win if you ask me :-)
FYI, trips are very limited and all depart on the same day, but if we find any more, we'll let you know ASAP!
Jack's take
When lie-flat seats only cost a couple hundred more than premium economy, it's hard to argue!
