Seoul
in €900s-€1210s rtn
Winter might just be our favourite time to visit Seoul! Hear us out…
Starting with the obvious: as the temps decline, so do the crowds, meaning you've got a better chance of bagging a bargain with accommodation.
If you visit at the start of November, you'll still be able to catch the last of the fiery foliage season—especially if you head further south!
Arrive a little later and you can strap on your skis and follow the locals up the mountains, but fair warning, they do get pretty busy. For the most space to perfect your snowplough, you'll find the longest slopes at Yongpyong Resort, home to the 2018 Winter Olympics.
And trust us, sinking into a steamy local jjimjilbang will never feel as good as on a brisk frosty evening.
Travel tip: Look out for Seoul's lantern festival lighting up the Cheonggye Plaza throughout the winter months :-)
