May in Cambodia = shoulder season at its finest!
It was the month I visited a few years back, and I can confirm the temps were high, the crowds were down, and the rain... Well, I'm not gonna lie, I did run into a few downpours.
But that left a cool lingering mist that made exploring temples and ruins feel seriously cinematic!
FYI, you can easily tick Angkor Wat off your bucket list with a short domestic flight over to Siem Reap for around £80 one way.
Jack's take
Cambodia has always been pretty tricky to reach on a budget. So anytime I spot China Southern dropping their fares, I'm gonna shout about it!
