Greenland's natural beauty is simply undeniable...
But it feels even more mesmerizing when it collides with human life, to slowly reclaim what we have left behind.
Nowhere captures that better than Kangeq. Once a small fishing community, it's now a ghost town. Colourful wooden homes are now faded by the persistent wind, eerily silent churches are left with empty pews inside, and jagged wooden crosses are bent sideways by the elements.
It's hauntingly beautiful and a poignant reminder of Mother Nature's subtle strength.
Despite its remote feel, you can easily visit on a day trip from Nuuk by boat for around £68. And as if a ghost town isn't cool enough, the journey takes you right past drifting icebergs, which is a whole other adventure in itself!
