I mean, do you even need an introduction for this one? It's New Zealand. You can't step outside without stumbling on a view like this.
The most scenic spots (like Aoraki/Mt. Cook) are found on the South Island, so you'll want to book that ferry trip ASAP. But if you'd rather skip the road trip and hang around the North Island for your whole vacation, you can still find plenty of stunning vistas - start with Tongariro National Park, where you'll find volcanoes, NZ's most iconic hiking trail, and some primo LotR filming locations.
And if you do hop over to the South Island, don't turn back before you reach the Catlins. Trust me :-)
Jack's take
Any time we see low fares to New Zealand, we jump on them. Especially when they cover so many dates!
