FYI, Etihad (and other Gulf carriers) are now running at a higher capacity than they were earlier this year. The majority of flights scheduled aren’t affected by disruptions, but if your flight is cancelled, you will be refunded by the airline—check their FAQs here.
For that reason, we’d definitely consider booking hotels with free cancellation, as well as checking the Ts and Cs of any travel insurance you buy.
