Move aside snowboarding and say hello to sandboarding! It's pretty much exactly how it sounds — swap the mountains for dunes, the icy snow for hot desert sand, and away you go.

Of course, there aren't any chair lifts in the desert, but on the plus side, there aren't any extortionate lift passes either. You can find heaps of tours online starting from around €25, plus they usually include a few bonus activities like dune-bashing too!
