While often confused with the Caribbean islands (no doubt thanks to Kokomo), Bermuda is actually off the coast of North Carolina. Its remote location gives it kind of a unique vibe – think less "vendor-covered beaches and touristy resorts" and more "scootering past lighthouses and strolling down candy-colored shores."
It's a little British, a little Caribbean, a little coastal Atlantic, and all Bermudan. If you're looking for an island escape that's a little closer to home, this might be your spot
