Unusually widespread deals across Africa is today's treat.

Most destinations in the East and South of the continent are covered by 5-star Qatar Airways, with the Star Alliance and SkyTeam adding a range of West African countries. While there are a lot of interesting spots to pick from, the Tanzania and Botswana options from New York deserve a special call-out for their rare-factor!

Booking policies vary a lot between the different airlines at the moment, so here's a summary of the airlines covered in this deal:

• On Star Alliance routes, United is allowing changes free of charge to any bookings made before April 30th. You can push back your travel up to a year from the booking date, or cancel and receive a credit toward a different flight.
• For SkyTeam bookings, many routes are operated by Air France, however, Delta's change policy is currently more generous so you may prefer to book through them for added flexibility. Delta is allowing date changes of up to a year, or exchange for credit, on all bookings made before May 31st.
• Qatar Airways currently only allow flights to be rebooked or exchanged for credit without change fees for trips before September 30th, 2020. We expect Qatar Airways will extend their flexible booking policy to cover the winter months if travel has not yet returned to normal.
