Booked this flight Feb 2024 returning March 2024, the second time we had flown using this route, the previous one being in November 2022. It was also part of a multi city stop in Oz as we went to Tazmania, then Melbourne, driving to Adelaide then flying back to Perth. Unfortunately 12 hours before we were due to fly back on QF9, and having checked in and got our boarding passes, 39 of us got kicked off this flight and put on an Emirates flight via Dubai.Whilst we did get home, we were not entitiled to any compensation on flights we had booked 11 months before, so be aware.We paid for a direct flight, which we did not get.Also Qantas fly form a different terminal at Perth Airport to the International one, which is a 10 minute drive away. We did get a taxi voucher after requesting it, and a meal voucher which was not valid in the International Terminal.
