Tokyo in $720s-$830s RT

Would you believe it's been almost a year since we saw any decent Tokyo fares? That's far too long for any route, let alone such a popular one!

And while "the dead of winter" might not seem like an ideal time to visit, it's actually kind of a sweet deal. Aside from the first week or so after New Year's, nothing really closes for the season, so you get all the same bang for way less buck. Plus Tokyo itself doesn't get super snowy, and there's rich, creamy ramen to warm your belly on every corner. Win-win!

If you want real snow, you'll have to head for the mountains. Meet Japanuary — from mid-January to mid-February, clouds off the Sea of Japan cover Hokkaido's bamboo forests in perfect powder, creating some of the most desirable skiing spots in the entire world.
