New York to Tel Aviv at $509 RT

Can't wait to tel you about this one :-)

We don't know if it's a glitch or just our lucky day, but you can nab an upgrade to 'Basic' for just $10 on this route to Tel Aviv. That means your checked + cabin bags included, which is absolutely unheard of for a budget airline.

If you're planning on traveling light, it might be worth checking out the prices on Skyscanner instead - it looks like some dates are down in the $450s. You can always use our Fare Compare extension to quickly double-check what the OTAs are offering for your dates.

There is a little catch here - you'll have to put up with a 7-hour layover in Lisbon on the way home. Buuut, we think that's a small price to pay for a week or two of winter sun, frolicking on Mezizim Beach.
