It turns out Lufthansa really doesn't play by the rules—they decided to wait until we were all in long weekend mode to quietly drop their fares to Kenya. For the first time in at least half a year. C'mon!

These premium economy tickets are actually sitting at around what you'd expect to pay for a standard economy fare. That means the two checked bags and wide, comfy seats are practically free, right?

You can choose to go economy for even less, and have a little extra left over for your safari through the Maasai Mara.

November is the start of Kenya's shorter green season, which means you can see the savannah in bloom if you don't mind a quick rain shower. And it's not only the flowers—it's also the start of new life for many animals too (aka, the best time to go for maximum cuteness).
