Algeria in $500s-$630s RT

On today's episode of "Why the fudge would I go there..?"...

Algeria!

Infamously hailed as one of the hardest countries to enter, if you're anything like me, that'll entice you even more. 

See, Algeria doesn't promise easy. No, it promises the shaking of Saharan sand from your suitcase months after your trip. It gets under your skin, your nails, and probably in your navel. 

Truthfully, your visa should come with a disclaimer: May cause The Ache.

You know the one. That appears out of nowhere when you catch your reflection in the bus window, when you're consumed by a foreign sunset, or after witnessing a world beyond what our newspapers share. 

So perhaps what's striking about Algeria isn't how tough it is to enter but how deeply it stays with you once you let it in.
