Gibraltar in £40s-£70s rtn

Winter sun, golden beaches, and mischievous monkeys—Gibraltar doesn't need much selling. Sooo, can we just be flight nerds for a second?...

First off, the view you get whilst landing is simply insane! On one side you've got the monolithic Rock of Gibraltar and on the other you've got the sparkling sea.

Not to mention, the runway itself is one of the shortest in the world at only 1800m! It's a piece of cake for smaller planes like the easyJet one you'll be on, but it's pretty impressive to watch larger jets tackle the landing.

And finally, after you've touched down, you actually get to cross the runway, since the road into town runs straight through it. But don't worry, when a plane is about to land, barriers come down like on a train crossing to keep everyone safe.
