Cambodia in $610s-$740s RT

In honor of National Bird Day (it's a real thing, look it up), we'd like to introduce you to the one-and-only giant ibis

This gangly fella is the largest ibis on the planet and a national symbol of Cambodia. Giant ibises (ibii?) are endangered and extremely shy, but you can spot them if you poke around in the forests and wetlands of the Northern Plains. We suggest starting at the Kulen Prum Tep or Chhep wildlife sanctuaries. 

Of course, if driving six hours across Cambodia to track down a rare bird isn't your cup of tea, you can always find something equally gorgeous a little closer to Phnom Penh :-)
