Glasgow to Boston via Schipol in September. This is a brilliant time to go to Boston, it was my first time and was very pleasantly surprised with the climate, 26 degrees, how clean the city was to how friendly the Bostonians are.The prices to eat were on a par with the UK.The busses and Trams?trains were superb, every ten minutes and only £1.70 or £1.20 for the bus. Boston Common was very like Kelvin Grove park in Glasgow. I loved the History of Boston and how they rallied against the Stamp duty. The red brick buildings at Harvard Campus were lovely, a very peaceful campus to stroll through.Really easy to jump on a train (£^) and hop up to Salem to see tons of people dressed as witches wandering around, fantastic atmosphere. If you are going to go, listen to 'The Empire' Podcast of the Founding fathers before you go, it fills in all the blanks before you get there although the Free walking tours and Boston Tea party were spot on.You can't come back without buying some Tea !
