Is it true what they say? Does nothing really beat a Jet2 holiday?

Well, last year, Navigator Fran and I had the pleasure of boarding a bright and early sunrise flight from Glasgow to Alicante with said airline. So without further ado, here is a very honest mini review…

Boarding: Running on only a few hours sleep, we were relieved to board on time. Albeit slightly bemused by the continuous loop of Jess Glynne ringing out over the onboard speakers.

Staff: I think it's fair to say the cabin crew on our Jet2 flight were some of the happiest I've ever come across. Every time they spoke over the intercom, they brought full kids-TV-presenter-energy. It might be a bit much for some, but I'd take that over grumpiness any day!

Extras: Word of warning, throughout the flight they do not stop talking about the possible extras you can buy. Snacks, perfumes, scratch cards, it was never ending. So if you wanna get some in-flight shut-eye, I'd strongly advise bringing ear plugs.

Flight: The flight itself was pretty smooth, but what really stood out to me was the atmosphere on board. Everyone seemed unusually happy and sociable—likely because Jet2 only flies to holiday destinations, everyone was already in vacay mode.

Verdict: While I wouldn't wanna put all my eggs in one basket and claim that nothing beats it, it was certainly a memorable flight. And, I'd happily take another one :-)
