What's that wafting through the air?

I smell some flights that're almost too good to be true. Guangzhou in the springtime? For over a hundred bucks less than last time?! Not to mention Xi'an, Shenzhen, Wuhan or Shanghai!

Ahhhhhhhh. Is that... the sweet, sticky scent of dim sum buns fresh from the steamer?

Or the irresistible sizzle of char siu glazing to perfection in a back-alley barbecue joint?

Maybe it’s the thick steam from a pot of chrysanthemum tea poured at a centuries-old teahouse — or the dizzying scent of durian daring you from a market stall.

Whatever you’re smelling, odds are it’s coming from Guangzhou — the city that practically invented “follow your nose” tourism :-)
