Well this is certainly a surprise!

We knew Virgin Atlantic had a non-stop Jo'burg route, but this is the first time it's ever been cheap enough for our standards.

And honestly, after such a lacklustre Black Friday appearance, it's about time they started pulling out the real price reductions.

For now, they're undercutting their long-term rival, British Airways, by £100. But, going by their ongoing copycat tactics, we wouldn't be surprised if BA drops their own non-stop fares next week :-)
