Da Nang & Hoi An, Vietnam in $720s-$780s RT

Most Vietnam flights drop you alllll the way north in Hanoi, or alllll the way south in Ho Chi Minh City.

So let's play Goldilocks and settle down right between them! 

The central city of Da Nang is where you'll land, but this deal really includes two towns: Da Nang itself, and Hoi An. While they're only about half an hour apart by taxi, they have totally different vibes.

For the fifth largest city in Vietnam, Da Nang offers a pretty laid-back view of the country. You won't find the expected chaos here, just (often empty) beaches and good coffee shops, plus one fire-breathing bridge. 

Most visitors to this area congregate in Hoi An. It can get crowded, but it's not hard to see why folks want to be here — a 500-year-old neighborhood, bright yellow buildings, and a lively riverfront make this an incredible town to meander.
