Tunisia at $554 RT

The two most famous sides of Tunisia:

1. The sun-soaked Mediterranean coast of Tunis, full of white-walled, mosaic-covered architecture, bustling medinas, and some incredibly well-preserved Roman ruins that still let you get up close.
2. That vast expanse of desert, beautiful in its own right, but more widely known for events that happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

So whether you prefer your ancient history fictional or non-fictional, Tunisia has you covered.

My suggestion? Spend a few days in the city taking in the seaside, and then join one of the many, many Tunisian desert tours. They range from camel rides to Berber villages deep in the Sahara, to Jeep tours between Star Wars sights, with options covering everything in between.
