Swedes have winter down to a science. You kinda have to, when you're just a few degrees south of the Arctic Circle! 

Between the (almost formidable) amount of saunas, the Scandi street style, and the cafe culture so iconic it has its own Swedish verb, locals don't exactly suffer through the snowy season. No hibernation here!

It makes sense too. Why hide from the chills when you could ice skate past castles on a frozen lake instead?

And while the winter may be magical, these dates do include April — so you can have your fika under the cherry blossoms, if you prefer :-)
