Sri Lanka in £530s-£560s rtn

Earlier this year, I caved and bought these exact flights to Sri Lanka...

So, here's a lil' review of what it's really like to fly this route with Etihad:

Details: I flew in economy on a Boeing 787-9 and an Airbus A321.

Staff: All of the cabin crew were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. They brought people extra snacks, water, and blankets whenever they asked for them.

Food: For a start, this was the first ever in-flight meal where I was given real metal cutlery! I took the vegetarian option both times, which was a delicious tomato/pesto pasta followed by an average-tasting vegetable curry.

Amenities: Along with the typical blanket and pillow (the latter being particularly plush), we were also given a little amenity kit containing earbuds, an eye mask and hand cream. But the best bit, the kit unfolded into a large reusable tote, which became my holiday laundry bag.

Overall: In general, I had a really positive flying experience with them, and would definitely recommend :- )
