If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I'll go straight to the point — is Shanghai's Former French Concession neighbourhood worth the hype?
Apparently yes, it is! Locals have been suggesting streets like Xinle Lu and Julu Lu for cute shops, and Yongjia Lu and Yongkang Lu for more quiet neighbourhood vibes. They'd also suggest avoiding Wukang Lu and Anfu Lu streets, if you're not feeling like joining the tourist crowds.
BTW, we've heard autumn is the best time to stroll around the neighbourhood in awe at the golden leaves falling all around :-)
