Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo you might have heard about the controversy this 'coolest neighbourhoods in the world' article has sparked since it was published yesterday.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, I'll go straight to the point — is Seoul's Mullae-dong neighbourhood worth the hype?

Short answer: yes! The area, originally made up of mostly steel factories, is now said to be the new Hongdae AKA a hub for artists, local makers, and cute cafés. 

Locals have been chatting about Mullae's buzz for a couple of months now, so whenever you're done strolling around wearing your hanbok (and getting free access to museums!) you might want to hop over to the other shore of the river.

Just try to stick to local businesses instead of big chains — it'll be a small way to limit the inevitable gentrification of the area :-)
