Rio de Janeiro at $698 RT

Rio has one of the most recognizable statues in the world—and no, we’re not talking about that one.

Everyone and their dog knows about the Wonder of the World watching over the city from atop lush Corcovado Mountain (which, by the way, is worth the trip for the view alone). But there’s another, less busy statue in town that might look a little familiar… It was designed by Bartholdi, the same sculptor behind a certain big lady in New York, and it commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Republic of Brazil!

Okay, maybe it’s not quite as magnificent as the original, but at least you can enjoy this one with a freshly grilled queijo coalho in hand :-)
