Porto in $440s-$590s RT

Porto is famous for its surrounding wine regions (try Gaia in the winter), but you don't have to spend your whole trip getting gradually sloshed on local vino.

I mean, you can if you want to. I wouldn't even judge; that sounds pretty cool.

But if you want to get a taste of the city too, there's plenty to see. You've got some truly gorgeous buildings, from neo-Gothic bookstores to gold-plated cathedrals. The food is perfect for a fall/winter trip—heavy, warming, and oh-so-delicious. And no Porto trip is complete without a pilgrimage to the world's most beautiful McDonald's.
