Paris in $580s-$620s RT

Picture this: you walk out of your charming, St. Germain hotel and go for a stroll along the cobblestone streets, with the Eiffel Tower looming over you. Oh no, a few snowflakes start to drift down! You duck into the nearest café, order a chocolat chaud and pull out your book. Crisis averted. 

It's basically impossible to have a bad afternoon surrounded by this many carbs :-)

PS: These dates do cover the Paris Christmas markets, but my experience pushing through wall-to-wall crowds to check out Christmas-themed versions of the same souvenirs as everywhere else was subpar, to say the least. Personally, I would hop on a train to Strasbourg (or Colmar!) and soak in their storybook-perfect vibes instead.
