We despise your near-incomprehensible baggage policies, but when it comes to dirt cheap flights to smaller cities in Mexico, you are truly unmatched. 

Because while it may be a pain to have your luggage fees seemingly decided by a dice roll, the fact is simple: no other airline on Earth will fly you to Oaxaca for this price, let alone during the peak dry season.

That makes for a fairly rare chance to see a more authentic side the country, without the chaos of Mexico City and the resorts of Cancun. Oaxaca is more of a "wander around and soak up the local vibes" kinda place. Tradition holds a lot of weight here, and that's never more apparent than with the food — classic dishes like empanadas and tamales come with a Oaxacan twist.
