Ixtapa, Mexico in $460s-$480s RT

Um okkkaaayyyy. Weirdly low prices in April, and only April. Why not?!

Upon landing, we're going to give you a hot tip to pull over at Zihua (as it's affectionately known) instead of continuing on to glitzy, popular (AKA crowded) Ixtapa. 

While Ixtapa is clad in coastal all-inclusives and curated boulevards, Zihuatanejo, despite a boom in tourism, has managed to maintain the soul of a sleepy fishing town. Lived in, loved, and wonderfully real. 

Arguably even better? About 30 minutes north, you'll find the close-knit surfing community of Troncones, known to be one of Guerrero's best spots to catch a wave.

And with an unspoiled coastline, just a handful of casual restaurants, and zero skyscraper resorts in sight, it's Tulum, like 20+ years ago. 

And tbh, who doesn't want to live here for the rest of their life?!
