And why wouldn't we be? It's arguably the most jaw-droppingly gorgeous coastline in Europe (fight me, Amalfi fans), with medieval cities, pebble beaches, and plenty of hidden island getaways—all tucked between the towering Dinaric Alps and the sparkling blue Adriatic.

Before you start exploring, take a hike up the mountains in Biokovo Nature Park for a bird's-eye view of the coastline. Be warned, though, the skywalk isn't for the faint of heart!

Afterward, the Game of Thrones fans among you can tour filming locations while the rest relax with a glass of wine :-)
