Did someone say "temples"?!

Cambodia is here to deliver! Phnom Penh — a city that’s almost suspiciously affordable these days — is a buzzing capital that seems to have more beautiful, ornate temples than we have Timmies.

You’ll find shimmering palatial temples clad in white and gold. Temples wrapped in lush gardens. Ancient, vine-draped temples that look straight out of Tomb Raider (which may be because it was filmed there!)

Head just a little beyond the city limits, and you’ll even stumble upon temples hidden inside caves.

And now that “temple” has officially lost all meaning, let’s move on to the crown jewel: Angkor Wat, the 8th wonder of the world.

It’s a slight haul from Phnom Penh, but surprisingly easy to reach — a private taxi runs around 100 bucks. 

And with 500 acres of ancient city to discover, that's one easy decision :-)
