Tulum
in $240s-$380s RT
Welcome to summer in Tulum! Most of these flights are in July-September. This season comes with a few caveats, so let's break down the pros and cons:
Cons of visiting Tulum in summer:
- It's gonna be hot.
- Shores are often covered in sargassum, so you won't get as much beach time during these months.
- While big storms are rare, it's technically hurricane season, so refundable bookings are a good option.
Nonetheless, we still think these flights are worth considering! Here are the pros:
- Much lower hotel rates.
- Cenotes and ruins are still just as accessible, and far less crowded.
- There are plenty of beaches without sargassum, including some that are manually cleared and others that are inland.
- These fares are super cheap.
In summary? If you don't mind the heat and care more about skipping the awful crowds, you could snatch an afforable summer vacation far from the crowds.
Plus, a few of you have later season dates anyway :-)
