London in $440s-$460s RT

You probably already know that both New York City and London have neighborhoods called Soho, but here's something else that it seems like nobody nose...

Over in London's Soho, you might sniff out something weird — There are small plaster casts of man's nose affixed to several random buildings in the area. 

Origin myths for the noses abound (including that they might be backups, should a famous statue end up like the Sphinx) but the truth is pretty great too. An artist created them in the 90s without permission, and waited to see how long they lasted. Five are still up today!

So keep an eye (or a nose) out while you pub-crawl through London's Soho. You might smell something funny :-)
