Fun fact: The gates of Hell are located in a theme park.

No, not "It's a Small World," good guess though! I'm talking about Haw Par Villa, a wild, kinda creepy, possibly haunted theme park right here in Singapore.

The park was founded back in the 30s to teach kids about traditional Chinese values through statues and giant dioramas. Kind of a weird medium for edutainment, but the results are pretty dang unique—and well worth a visit.

Make sure not to skip Haw Par Villa's most infamous attraction: The Ten Courts of Hell, a terrifyingly vivid representation of the underworld drawn directly from Chinese folklore.

And if it all gets a bit too intense, just relax with a local delicacy :-)
