Seoul in $800s-$880s RT

People usually think of Seoul just as an urban destination, probably because it's, you know, one of the coolest cities in the world.

But it also happens to be a gateway to some terrific hiking spots!

Bukhansan National Park is a great place to start, especially since it's right on the edge of the city. You can spend the whole day climbing boulders and be back downtown in time for a delicious hanjeongsik dinner.

For an easier trail (and one even closer to most of Seoul), give Gwanaksan a try—as long as you don't mind a crowd. We're also big fans of Seoraksan National Park, which is a couple of hours outside the city but has some really stunning temples to break up the nature.
