Even butterflies agree, there's nothing like a trip south of the border...

Every year, thousands of monarch butterflies come from all over the US and Canada to spend the winter near Mexico City. Fun fact: Monarchs only live for 3–6 weeks, except for the ones born right before the annual migration. Those lucky ducks get up to 9 months of life, allowing them to make the long journey to Mexico.

Luckily, human travelers of any generation can take one of these Aeromexico flights down south to see the butterflies, as long as they plan their trip for February or March. If you want to book later in the year, you'll just have to find something else to do—Like visiting this charming little magic town :-)
