Bali might get all the press, but you definitely don't want to sleep on Java.

And not just because of all the terrific coffee keeping you up! Java is much larger and more diverse than its neighbor to the east, with everything from jungle waterfalls to active volcanoes. This is the kind of landscape that just screams "road trip," especially when you start adding the ancient temples and vibrant cities to the mix.

The only downside? There's wayyyy too much to cover in a single trip, so you'll have to finagle some extra time off from work. But we're sure you'll find a way :-)
