Ladies and gents, a round of applause for the glorious summer months in Nova Scotia…

Bur if you don't feel like venturing all the way up, you could check out the 100 Wild Islands! Just a one-hour drive away from Halifax, you'll find these pristine islands packed with sheltered coves, turquoise water and white sandy beaches.

Grab a kayak to delve into them, try to spot all the 120 species of birds living in the area, and if you're veryvery lucky, maybe even these gentle giants before they begin their fall migration to warmer waters…
