Egypt in $560s-$760s RT

Deals to Egypt are almost always just for Cairo. We can't get too mad — everyone wants to see those famous tombs!

But it's still nice to see another Egyptian city pop up in a similar price range. You can take the train or bus between cities if you prefer, but those can get a little hectic. So if you want to spend all or most of your time up in Alexandria, here's a short-cut!

This city might be most famous for that long-gone library, but today it's a Mediterranean jewel packed with beaches, Greco-Roman ruins, and excellent museums. You can even visit the New Library of Alexandria, built to honor the old one. 

No word on whether this one contains ancient secrets lost to time :-)
