Brazil is home to many one-of-a-kind cities, and Brasília is no exception. You've never been anywhere like this!

Unlike most cities that crop up naturally, this one was meticulously designed from scratch during the 1950s. Because of this unusual origin, it's incredibly organized, super safe, and looks like something from a paperback sci-fi novel. 

While most tourists beeline for Rio, Brasília is heaven for architecture nuts — especially fans of Oscar Neimeyer. The modernist designed several of the city's most notable buildings, ranging from dramatic memorials to a flying saucer-esque museum.

And as air travel experts, we're particularly fond of the city's outline :-)
